At the Guitar Show 2023, in collaboration with Dantone Edizioni, the “Creators Roundtable” took place, a space for online content creators that received enormous feedback and public favor.
The Guitar Show 2023, closed the doors of its sixth edition, held at the Padua Exhibition Center on May 20 and 21, with a full and convincing success of numbers and participation.
Among the many innovations, this year the Creators Roundtable initiative shone, a space dedicated to online content creators, an absolute first for the Guitar Show. “It was an event above my expectations,” commented Germano Dantone, the promoter of the initiative. The idea was to bring all the most important web creators who have been animating the digital scene with educational and informative content related to the world of guitar to an event of the caliber of the Guitar Show.

Among the distinguished guests, Paolo Anessi in collaboration with Simona Grasso, who combined the sound of the guitar with singing, Vince Carpentieri who presented No Words and the Guitar Café, Fabio Testa with Basscommunity, dedicated to the world of bass, and many other talented artists such as Riccardo Gioggi, Stefano Rossi, Claudio Cicolin, Danilo Vicari, Luca Milieri and Marco Fanton.
The Creators Roundtable became a meeting place and an important point of comparison for both speakers and artists involved, and for the public who always filled all the available spaces of the audience. The dedicated area was strategically placed in a large and well-organized space, with a large screen in the center and stands around, creating a visually captivating atmosphere. All appointments on the Creators’ Roundtable calendar could be heard in headphones thanks to the high-performance devices provided by “Silent System“, the technical partner of the Guitar Show. This solution allowed the initiative to take place in the middle of the exhibition and not have to close itself in a separate meeting room.
One of the most notable aspects of the Guitar Show 2023 and the Creators area in particular, was the exceptional youth presence. This year, the event saw a significant influx of young enthusiasts and families, a phenomenon that aroused the enthusiasm of many participants, including Marco Fanton, one of the creators participating in the Creators Roundtable.
“What I liked the most is the tide of young people I saw, and also families. It was one of the editions in which I saw the most young people ever,” Fanton shared. This youthful presence is not only a positive signal for the music industry, but also represents a valuable opportunity to transfer the passion for music and guitar to new generations.
Fanton emphasized the importance of cultivating this youthful interest: “This thing here I really liked: the father who brings the son, the daughter… for me it is an important symptom that we must grasp and cultivate. We must be able to transfer this passion especially to young people.”
A factor that certainly contributed to this youthful presence was the ticket price policy. This year, in fact, despite a slight increase in the standard ticket price, the age for free admission was raised to 14 years, while young people between 14 and 18 years old were able to access it with a discounted price. This choice was made with the intention of promoting musical and guitar culture among young generations, one of the priority “missions” of the Guitar Show.

Vince Carpentieri, one of the present creators, described the experience as “incredible”. He emphasized the importance of the social aspect and the community that was created around the guitar. “I thought: let’s showcase what we have been able to do for the community in 3 years and try to bring thismessage to as many new people as possible.”
Danilo Vicari highlighted how the event allowed to remember that behind the numbers of the web there are real people, passionate about music and eager to confront with others. This sentiment was also shared by Riccardo Gioggi, who was surprised by the public’s response, and by Claudio Cicolin, who noticed how the Creators Roundtable has materialized as a natural meeting point for enthusiasts, professionals and amateurs of our cultural world.
Fabio Testa emphasized the importance of the event in the perspective of building productive relationships between different sensitivities: “It was a beautiful experience especially because it allowed us to network among Creators, so meet us, get to know each other in person, share many things, confront with our respective stands and the respective public.”
The Creators Roundtable at the Guitar Show 2023 represented a turning point for all parties, offering online content creators a stage to share their experiences and get closer to their followers, and to the fair instead, the possibility to offer the public moments of deepening and sharing. As described by Paolo Anessi, one of the creators, the Guitar Show has become the “Guitarists’ Christmas“, an event that celebrates the passion for music and guitar in an atmosphere of sharing and learning.
