The Guitar Show 2023 ended with exceptional success, marking a significant increase in attendees and exhibitors. With a 41% audience growth and a 31% increase in exhibitors, the event solidifies its leading position in the European scene of guitar and bass.
The Guitar Show 2023, held at the Padua Exhibition Center on 20th and 21st May, closed its sixth edition registering a remarkable increase in terms of attendees and exhibitors. With approximately 5600 total attendees, of which 4100 were visitors, 900 were professionals, and 600 accredited artists, the event registered a 41% growth compared to the 2022 edition.

Pavilions 5 and 11 of the Fiera di Padova were crowded with 198 exhibitors from over 20 countries, a 31% increase from 2022 when there were 150. Of these, 68.2% were Italian exhibitors, while 31.8% were from abroad, with a 43% increase in foreign companies and brands, especially direct ones. The total area occupied by the event was 12000 square meters indoors, in addition to the outdoor spaces, offering a variety of areas dedicated to demonstrations, performances, and various activities.
A remarkable number of 189 events took place on 12 stages in just two days. Our collaboration with our technological partner “Silent System” was crucial for the success of this intensive programming, allowing wireless headphone listening to stages that otherwise could not coexist at such close proximity.
The productive collaboration with the friends of the “Vintage Authority” association allowed us to present at the Guitar Show for the first time a large area dedicated to vintage instruments, involving numerous Italian and foreign collectors who exhibited hundreds of invaluable instruments. This exhibition was literally stormed by the public, which greatly appreciated and rewarded this new initiative.

A special thank you goes to the “Music Edu” association, which, as a partner of the Guitar Show, and in collaboration with Vintage Authority, brought to the Silent stage important insights and panels on the world of vintage but also modern guitars.
GrBass, GrGuitar, Aramini Musical Instruments, and Padova Music contributed as technical partners to the success of the events with significant support for the backline of the official stages. Thank you!
The Musicoff community has always supported the event with a spirit of service and usual professionalism. There are many contents published through their channels, and as always, they made the Guitar Show their ideal “gathering”, involving big names in guitar along with their “extended family” of Musicoff Young. Precious enthusiasm.

One of the most appreciated peculiarities of the Guitar Show 2023 was undoubtedly the Creators’ Roundtable. Thanks to the collaboration with Dantone Edizioni, we had the pleasure of organizing a rich program of panels with some of the most influential, well-known, and popular guitar YouTubers. This discussion platform allowed the public to interact with leading figures in the sector, exchanging ideas, techniques, and advice. The interest shown for this initiative exceeded all our expectations, highlighting the importance of creating spaces for dialogue and sharing within the event.

Over the past few months, we have worked intensively to enhance our communication, among other things starting a new editorial activity of product reviews organized in editorial content for the website and videos on YouTube. As for social media, we created 200 promotional reels, one for each exhibitor, with a notable effect: over one million interactions on various social media platforms and web campaigns in the months preceding the event.
All the numbers and data related to the event have been submitted to an inspection check and will be ISO 25639 certified, awarding the Guitar Show for the second consecutive year the recognition of “International Fair“.
We conclude with a sense of gratitude and optimism. With nearly 200 exhibitors and an audience approaching the 6000 attendees mark, the Guitar Show has reached a critical mass that projects it as a protagonist at the European level. Our goal is to double the attendance and general parameters within the next two editions, the signals we see are pushing in this direction.
We sincerely thank all the exhibitors, the public, and the artists for contributing to the achievement of these exceptional results for the Guitar Show. Your support and participation have contributed to making this edition a successful event and motivate us to continue to work to raise the bar once again.
The Guitar Show now looks to the future with renewed optimism and great anticipation. The goal is to continue to grow, to improve, to make each new edition an unforgettable experience for all participants. We are already looking forward to welcoming you to the next edition of the Guitar Show on May 18th and 19th, 2024!
