LARGE-SCALE MARKET EXHIBITION OPEN TO INDUSTRY, DISTRIBUTION, ARTISANS, MAKERS, MODDERS, STORES, PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS, AND COLLECTORS, DEDICATED TO THE WORLD OF GUITARS, BASSES, AMPLIFICATION, AND EFFECTS.

The ninth edition of Guitar Show has come to a close: the second hosted at BolognaFiere and the first to take place over three days from may 15th to 17th, 2026. It was a significant edition, not only for the numbers achieved, but also for the quality of participation, the growth of the event’s international profile, and the confirmation of a path that is shaping Guitar Show into an increasingly central appointment for the world of guitar, bass, amplification, effects and lutherie.

Guitar Show 2026 recorded 10,515 total attendees over the three opening days. This result was built together with exhibitors, distributors, industry professionals, luthiers, artists, the press, the technical staff and an audience that took part with attention, curiosity and expertise. A unique event
The large-scale European Guitar Show

A really exciting appointment for guitar fans. Hundreds of exhibitors, thousands of instruments on show, all to see and try. And in addition, 80+ onstage events, demonstrations, concerts, and major artists.

Bologna UNESCO City of Music
A city with a deep-rooted artistic and musical tradition.

In 2006, Bologna was declared a UNESCO Creative City of Music, a prestigious recognition that celebrates its rich musical heritage and vibrant contemporary scene.

A Major New Feature in 2026
Three days of fair, more space for music.

The expansion to three days marks the beginning of a path aimed at fostering professional networking among exhibitors, buyers, distributors, and retailers, through meetings, in-depth discussions, and commercial exchange.
This decision also stems from the feedback received from both Italian and international industry professionals, with the goal of making participation in the Guitar Show increasingly effective and aligned with the sector’s evolving needs.
