Vinteck’s Natural Drive is a versatile pedal that offers a warm and round sound, in addition to many adjustment options to personalize its tone.
Vinteck is a company specialized in the production of pedal systems, established in 2002 with the aim of providing high-quality products for guitarists and bassists. The company’s philosophy, “save your tone“, translates into products made exclusively with quality components. The practicality of use and good signal management have made Vinteck products a preferred choice for both professionals and enthusiasts over time.

The Natural Drive is a guitar pedal distinguished by its smoothness and transparency. It creates a round and warm tone, designed to be used as an always-on overdrive. The gain is adequate and not exaggerated, making it ideal for dirtying a clean base or amplifying a crunch sound with the right definition.
The potentiometers are well-made and have a sensitive range to the touch, with metal structures and only the pot-cover knob made of plastic. The IN and OUT jacks also appear robust. On the overdrive box, there are the controls for Gain, Volume, Bass, and Treble that allow for wide versatility in sound management. Furthermore, an internal dip switch offers additional flexibility, allowing for a range from organic and uncompressed saturation to a more compressed sound and a third configuration with asymmetric clipping.
We tested the Natural Drive on the road, taking it with us in various situations: studio, concerts, and rehearsal rooms. It’s hard not to get used to always having it active on the pedalboard as an ideal complement to our sound, to increase the harmonic range as needed or to give a boost to certain sounds destined to battle in complex and very dense walls of sound. Overall, we like its transparency and its propensity to adapt in all usage ranges, both in discreet but defined and present rhythms, and in solos whose sound needs a “kick” to jump to the peaks of the mix.
