Filippo Bianchi
INFO
Let me introduce myself: my name is Filippo Bianchi and I'm from Cesena.
In life, I would have liked to pursue a career as a musician and keep law as a hobby, but I ended up doing the opposite...
My passion for vintage instruments began in the mid-90s thanks to Stefano Ballardini and Francesco Brasini (Jimmy Guitar), where I bought my first vintage guitar: a 1962 Olympic White Jazzmaster, which I still own.
Since then, I've encountered and owned numerous vintage instruments of any brand, model, and year, and today, I can affirm with some confidence my unconditional love for Fender Offset (Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Maverick, Bass VI, Bass V, Coronado, and then Duo Sonic, Musicmaster, Mustang...).
I don't like to consider myself a collector, perhaps because of the notion that "collectors don't play," but maybe I should just accept the facts.
For the first time, I will display some pieces at a fair, and I will do it in Padua (last year, unfortunately, a few days before the fair, a flood thought it good to drown my good intentions, along with numerous vintage cases), sharing the exhibition space with that very Jimmy who infected me with this "disease" now 30 years ago.
By the way, the only non-vintage guitar in my (I'm loath to admit it but I must define it this way) "collection" is actually a C1 PRO made by Jimmy Guitar's Factory especially for me: the "Filobianchi Signature".
See you in Padua.
