The Guitar Show 2025 will be held in a new and prestigious location: halls 31, 32, and 33 of BolognaFiere!
The event, scheduled for May 10-11, 2025, will offer enthusiasts and industry professionals an experience designed to be even bigger and more representative. A new venue, more centrally located within Italy, boasts excellent features to attract more interest and participation from both local and international audiences and exhibitors. Moreover, starting from the next edition, the Guitar Show will run concurrently with Eufonica 2025, a comprehensive fair dedicated to “Making Music.” This event brings together music schools, institutions, trade associations, record labels, and everything related to music-making at all levels, from amateurs to professionals.
Why Bologna?
After years of success in Padua, we decided to move to Bologna for several strategic reasons, always with the goal of continuing to invest in growth. Thanks to its central location, Bologna represents an ideal choice to make the event even more accessible for both Italian and international audiences. Specifically:
- Geographical Centrality: Bologna, a UNESCO City of Music, is situated in a privileged position and is easily accessible from all over the country. The city is a strategic hub in the Northeast, maintaining current distances with the Northwest and facilitating access for the many participants coming from Southern Italy, who have shown increasing attendance in past editions. The distance from the historic Padua venue remains minimal, allowing us to continue to capitalize on our efforts and results in the region, with natural adjustments.
- Transport and Connectivity: Bologna has one of Italy’s most important train stations, connected by high-speed rail to major Italian and international cities. Additionally, the international “Guglielmo Marconi” airport is just minutes away from the exhibition district, making it easier for both audiences and exhibitors from around the world to participate.
- Quality Facilities: Halls 31, 32, and 33 of BolognaFiere offer larger, brighter, and more functional spaces, overlooking a green area that enhances the overall environment of the event. The new location is equipped with efficient integrated services, large parking areas for the public, convenient spaces for exhibitors’ loading and unloading, a press room, and much more. Symbolically, this is also a fresh start: twelve years after the last sector fair in Italy, the Music Italy Show in 2014, we will occupy the same halls.
- Support and Collaboration: BolognaFiere will provide us with all the necessary support to design an event capable of attracting international interest. Additionally, we will run concurrently with Eufonica, an event dedicated to the world of “making music,” organized with the involvement of schools, trade associations, and public entities. This event aims to explore topics related to the music world, involving companies, producers, craftsmen, artists, the recording industry, students, professionals, and institutions. This collaboration opens up new opportunities and more exhibition possibilities for the future.
Classical and Acoustic World
For the first time, we will dedicate exclusive spaces and stages to the world of classical and acoustic guitars, expanding the offer and embracing all aspects of the guitar world. We are working intensively to create spaces specifically designed for the exhibition of these instruments, with dedicated stages for performances, product tests, talks, and the involvement of professionals in developing the project.
Guitar Show + Eufonica, an Even Bigger and More Representative Event
Thanks to close collaboration with Eufonica, we are planning a rich calendar of off-site events to offer visitors an even wider and more engaging experience, inside and outside the exhibition halls.
Eufonica will complement the classic Guitar Show events with a broad program of appointments dedicated to thematic insights on making music at all levels. Talks, panels, and interventions with prominent personalities from the entertainment, institutional, and recording worlds. This collaboration will complete the overall representativeness of the combined event, making it a comprehensive appointment on making music.
No Increase in Costs for the Public and Exhibitors
We have worked hard to ensure that this move represents tangible growth without additional costs for the public and exhibitors. Ticket prices for the public and exhibitor fees will remain substantially in line with those of the 2024 edition.
An Aggregate Event with 12,000 Attendees!
Thanks to the extraordinary results of the 2024 Guitar Show, with over 7,000 attendees, and Eufonica, with 5,000 attendees, we are preparing to host a combined event starting from a base of 12,000 total attendees, positioning ourselves as an unmissable appointment in the European and international music landscape.
