Lukas Schmidt guitars – LS guitars

In my workshop, I build modern archtop guitars by hand, each with its own unique details. My approach blends traditional techniques from classical guitar, lute, and viol making with modern materials and processes.
My goal is to create high-quality instruments in close collaboration with the player — guitars that not only inspire but give musicians a voice to fully express themselves. After studying in Markneukirchen, completing my master craftsman’s certification, and gaining experience working with Andreas Cuntz, I now share a workshop in Rothenburg ob der Tauber with Max Spohn and Milena Schmoller.
