The EGB Luthier Collection is a project developed through a collaboration between European Guitar Builders (EGB), an association bringing together independent luthiers and handcrafted instrument makers, and Guitar Show, with the aim of showcasing boutique lutherie within an international exhibition setting.
First introduced at Guitar Show in 2026, the EGB Luthier Collection marked the return of the EGB community to a major international event following the final edition of the Holy Grail Guitar Show. The initiative proved highly successful, generating significant interest among visitors, industry professionals, and enthusiasts.
The project stands out for its exhibition concept specifically designed for handcrafted instruments: a dedicated, quiet, art-gallery-inspired space where each instrument can be explored, discovered, and appreciated for its craftsmanship, aesthetics, and tonal qualities.
An environment designed to encourage direct interaction between luthiers and visitors, featuring soundproof testing booths and dedicated spaces that promote listening, exchanging ideas, and meaningful conversations.
Following the success of its debut edition, the EGB Luthier Collection returns to Guitar Show from May 14 to 16, 2027, continuing a collaboration that places craftsmanship, innovation, and the appreciation of handcrafted musical instruments at its core.
