Within the section dedicated to bass, Darkglass brings to Guitar Show 2026 one of the most advanced solutions of recent years: ANAGRAM, a multi-effects pedalboard that goes beyond the traditional concept of a compact unit to become a true creative platform.
Designed for musicians working between stage and studio, ANAGRAM is aimed at bassists looking for total control, sound quality and long-term expandability, while maintaining an immediate and performance-ready interface.

Darkglass Electronics – ANAGRAM
Darkglass ANAGRAM is an advanced multi-effects unit for bass and guitar that integrates amplification, effects and modelling in an extremely compact and lightweight format, ideal for both studio and live use.
As a constantly evolving platform, it now also opens up to third-party plugins through the Anagram Marketplace, significantly expanding its sonic possibilities. From proprietary DSP blocks to Neural Amp Modeler models and new external integrations, it offers extremely flexible signal management.
It is a practical solution for bassists and guitarists who want to bring to the stage the same sound they have built and shaped in the studio according to their own needs.
More than a simple pedalboard, ANAGRAM is a digital workstation designed to adapt to different contexts without compromise.
At the heart of the system is a hexa-core DSP processor, capable of handling complex signal chains with extremely low latency — 1.31 ms — while always maintaining a fast, natural response under the fingers. Its internal structure allows for highly articulated configurations: up to 12 blocks in series and 12 in parallel, organized on a dual-row layout to build advanced routing, external integrations and customized audio paths.
This architecture translates into genuine operational freedom: amplifiers, cabinets, effects and utilities can be combined without rigidity, leaving room for a truly creative approach.

Interface and control: technology that remains musical
One of ANAGRAM’s strongest features is the balance between depth and immediacy. One of ANAGRAM’s strongest features is the balance between depth and immediacy.
- The 7” touchscreen allows direct interaction with the effects chain through intuitive gestures.
- The six dynamic encoders provide precise control over parameters without interrupting the workflow.
- The three fully assignable footswitches adapt to the context: preset changes, scene management or direct effect control.
The system is organized through “Views” and “Modes”, a structure that separates what is displayed from what is controlled, making interaction clear even in complex configurations.

Presets and performance management
ANAGRAM is designed to truly work on stage.
The 126 available presets make it possible to save complete configurations, but it is the scene management that makes the real difference: within the same preset, multiple variations can be created by changing parameters, activations and routing without audio interruptions.
This means moving from a clean sound to a saturated one, or from a rhythmic configuration to a more ambient setup, in a smooth and coherent way, without completely changing preset.
The operating modes — Preset, Stomp and Scene — also allow the pedalboard to adapt to each musician’s playing style, making it feel more like a traditional board or like an advanced programmable system.
Full openness: NAM, IR and user content
One of the most interesting aspects is its openness to external content.
The integration between factory content and user libraries makes the unit suitable both for those looking for ready-to-use solutions and for those who want to build their own sound in detail.
Integrated tools and connectivity
From an operational point of view, ANAGRAM includes everything needed to work without additional hardware: an independent multitrack looper, tuner with adjustable pitch, 6-band global EQ with visual analysis and an internal mixer managing up to six physical outputs.
The connections are designed for professional use: balanced jack and XLR outputs, configurable send/return, MIDI, USB-C for audio interface functionality and full system management.

ANAGRAM is not a “closed” product, but a platform designed to grow. Firmware updates and the integration of third-party content make it a tool intended to evolve alongside the needs of musicians. This perspective is precisely what makes it particularly interesting in the context of Guitar Show: not just a new product to try, but a system that redefines the way we think about the bass pedalboard.
ANAGRAM will be present in Hall 31, where visitors will be able to test its potential directly in a real-world context. If you want to discover how it can integrate into your setup and hear it live, visit the Quiet-Play area in Hall 31 – booth 1022-1023-1024-1028.
See you there!
