The 2025 edition of Guitar Show marks a new beginning: the event moves to BolognaFiere, in Halls 31, 32, and 33, for a weekend — May 10 and 11 — entirely dedicated to the world of guitars and basses, in a format that is even more expansive, accessible, and international.
For the first time, Guitar Show will also take place alongside Eufonica 2025, the new Italian event dedicated to music-making, involving schools, institutions, associations, and industry professionals at every level — from music education to recording, through to artistic production.
Once again this year, the heart of Guitar Show will be its spectacular exhibition area, spread across Halls 31, 32, and 33: a true journey through contemporary luthiery, artisan and industrial production, vintage gear, innovation, and everything that revolves around guitars, basses, effects, and amplifiers.
There will be over 300 exhibitors, an impressive number that confirms the strength and appeal of this international event. This growth is accompanied by a surprising variety of brands: historic names who have long been part of the show, emerging players, independent builders, luthiers, distributors, retailers, artisans, and industry giants.
The true wealth of Guitar Show lies in its diversity: you’ll meet brands from 26 different countries across Europe, North America, Asia, and South America, confirming the event’s global reach and its ability to unite in one place a wide range of experiences, styles, and design philosophies.

Now in its eighth edition, Guitar Show continues to grow and evolve, establishing itself as one of the most important events on the international music scene.
Founded in 2017, the event has gained increasing attention from both the public and industry professionals year after year, thanks to its original format and strong identity — one that combines quality, accessibility, and innovation.
The move to Bologna marks a new chapter in Guitar Show’s journey of expansion, but the spirit that makes it unique remains unchanged: distinct areas for every kind of sound experience, from silent headphone testing to indoor and outdoor live stages, all while ensuring listening quality and exhibitor comfort.
Guitar Show is much more than a trade fair: it’s a chance to discover rare instruments, meet the finest modern luthiers, test brand-new releases, and connect with those who build, modify, study, and live the guitar in all its forms.
Thanks to the collaboration with Vintage Authority, there will once again be a prestigious selection of historic instruments, curated in every detail to offer a visitor experience that blends passion and culture.
An event designed for those who live music in all its forms: for those who play it, build it, teach it, or simply dream it. For two days, Bologna will become a meeting point for a vibrant, creative, and international community, united by the same passion.
Anyone who walks through the doors of Guitar Show will find something that speaks to their world: the enthusiast seeking genuine emotion, the professional looking for dialogue and inspiration, the curious visitor drawn to unexpected discoveries.
From major companies to micro artisan brands, from legendary models to the boldest and most experimental creations, every booth will be a chance to connect directly with those who imagine, design, and build instruments with different visions and languages.
