Vox Amps
INFO
Vox Amplification's legendary history began with Dick Denney, who joined England’s JMI Corporation in 1957. His innovative AC1/15 amplifier, introduced in 1958, marked the birth of the Vox name. The AC15 quickly gained popularity among London’s top guitarists, including Vic Flick, known for the "James Bond Theme". Recognizing the demand for more power, Denney doubled the AC15's power to create the iconic AC30/4 Twin in 1960, favored by emerging rock bands. In 1962, The Beatles acquired their first Vox amplifiers, further catapulting Vox into the spotlight. The success of the 1960s laid the foundation for Vox's enduring legacy, with classics like the AC4, AC15, and AC30 remaining popular choices. Today, Vox continues Dick Denney's tradition of innovation with modern products like the Cambridge50 and Valvenergy pedals, offering both classic tube designs and cutting-edge modeling technology, ensuring Vox remains a staple in the music industry.
