"TiefTöner is a German company specialising in the production of bass and guitar cabinets. In addition to the reproduction qualities, practicality was at the top of the list of requirements during development. The cabinets are therefore made of lightweight poplar plywood and coated with a robust textured lacquer. And the neodymium-magnet loudspeakers used weigh less than half of their conventional counterparts. Often, for reasons of space, the speakers have to be placed directly against the wall, which has cost the lives of several jack plugs. To avoid this, we use a connector panel in which the two SpeakOn/jack combo sockets are recessed and mounted at a slight angle."
