Taylor Guitars, founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug, has grown from a small shop to a leading manufacturer, now 100% employee-owned. Based in El Cajon, California, Taylor is renowned for its premium acoustic guitars, made exclusively in the U.S. and Mexico. With over 1,200 employees, Taylor maintains high standards of craftsmanship and innovation, led by Master Guitar Designer Andy Powers. In 2021, the company transitioned to employee ownership to preserve its culture and commitment to excellence.
