Public transportation to and from BolognaFiere

Bologna Exhibition Centre is 8.5 km from Guglielmo Marconi International Airport, served by numerous airlines connecting Bologna with Italian, European, and intercontinental destinations.

From the airport, BolognaFiere can be reached by taxi (8.5 km distance).

The Marconi Express monorail train is also available at the airport, reaching Bologna Central Station in just 7 minutes.

Bologna Central Station is one of the largest railway hubs in both Italy and Europe. With over 700 trains per day, including regional, Intercity, and high-speed trains operated by Trenitalia and Italo, Bologna is easily accessible from anywhere in Italy and many international locations.

Once you arrive at the central station, BolognaFiere can be reached by:

  • TAXI – Taxi stands are available at Piazza Medaglie d’Oro exit and Kiss&Ride exit on Via Carracci.
  • BUS – TPER bus lines: 35 and 38 from Piazzale Medaglie d’Oro.
  • ON FOOT – A 30-minute walk from the Via Carracci exit.

Additionally, during events with high attendance, the “BolognaFiere” railway stop is activated for special train services.

For those coming from Bologna Central Station (4 km away), the fairgrounds can be reached from Piazzale Medaglie d’Oro using bus lines 35 and 38 (lines 35 and 39 for the return), which lead to the entrances at Piazza Costituzione and Viale Aldo Moro.

For those coming from the city center (less than 5 km away), the fair can be reached via bus line 28.

BolognaFiere is the first exhibition center with a dedicated motorway exit, allowing direct access to the fair.

From Florence, Milan, and Ancona: take the “BOLOGNA FIERA” exit on the A14 motorway.

From Padua, on the A13 motorway, take the Arcoveggio exit, then follow the Bologna ring road towards San Lazzaro until exit 8 (North, Michelino, Moro entrances, and Michelino Parking) or exit 7 (Constitution Entrance and Parking).

The car-sharing service allows you to reach the fair using a self-drive rental car, available by reservation.

In Bologna, car-sharing services are provided by Enjoy and Corrente.

The RideMovi  service offers pedal-assist e-bikes and traditional bikes equipped with a 3-speed gear system. Through the app, users can access a map to locate the nearest bike and reach the fair.
