In 2007, driven by a desire to shape his own vision in the field of guitar amplification, Marco Ferrari built his first amp. What began as a personal pursuit soon sparked the interest of high-profile professionals—first among them, Dire Straits’ legendary guitarist Phil Palmer. After years of experimentation and refinement, his boutique workshop, Dreamaker Amps, was officially founded in July 2011 in Garda, Italy. His philosophy is rooted in minimalism: achieving the desired result with the fewest possible components, enhancing tone, efficiency, reliability, and reducing background noise. While inspired by iconic vintage designs, Marco constantly explores new technical solutions, always adding his personal touch. Every Dreamaker amplifier is entirely handcrafted, with point-to-point wiring on turret boards and meticulously designed layouts that ensure durability, easy maintenance, and tonal excellence. Production is intentionally limited to just a few units per year, each one built with the same passion as the very first amp back in 2007.
