Andy’s Guitar Collection
INFO
Andrea Cesarini, born in 1986, got into guitar thanks to Queen and Brian May. As a child, he used to imitate the curly-haired guitarist with the Red Special, which became a true obsession until he received it for his 18th birthday.
He grew up listening to Queen, Pink Floyd, Police, and Sting. At 14, he got his first guitar, a Cort Strat-style model. Later came the Jackson DK-2, followed by other models like the Stratocaster, Telecaster, and his current #1, a Les Paul Goldtop ’57 Reissue.
His idea of the instrument evolved: the guitar became an object of desire, where sound, look, and history became one. He started getting into vintage guitars in his early twenties, purchasing his first vintage piece, a 1968 Gibson SG Standard.
He managed a rehearsal space and began working at a music store, joining the team at 24. In ten years, he handled thousands of instruments, gaining hands-on experience, especially in band and live contexts.
For him, vintage instruments hold unique value: alchemy, vibrations, tactile sensations, tone, and warmth. He only keeps what he loves sonically, avoiding “deaf” guitars.
Over time, his collection has focused more and more on vintage, with special attention to the Nashville brand, Fender and Vox amps, ‘50s and ‘60s Fender guitars, custom shop pieces, and luthier-built instruments.
