"PKV pickups is a young company dedicated, out of deep and convinced passion, to making and marketing transducers for electric guitars and basses. It is made through the most classic of methods, that is, by winding copper capillary wire in scatter" (i.e., random) mode. Our work does not aim at numbers but only and exclusively at quality. It is perfectly possible to recognize by sight and even more by sound a handmade pickup from a mass-produced one. Well PKV pickups is that Italian brand that makes handcrafted pickups well recognizable by the careful selection of materials, the rigorous execution of the windings, and the original choice not to chase at all costs the perfect "vintage" soud but rather to endow its transducers with a more classic or more personal sound depending on the lutherie work they will equip."
